Well first of all the part of the US that is most prone is the northern states, Northwest states, and the southeast.
Second, the airports that are most pron are Atlanta, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, and New York.
Third, Yes that has happened to me before in New York because they had only 1 runway open and there were about 20 planes in line for takeoff.
Fourth, well Florida is often crowded however, all of the roads are wide and Miami is very nice.
Fifth, No unless there is a bad storm Miami isnt prone to cancellations.
