eBay seller wants refund?
I bought a camera a while back from Cameta Camera as a demo. I sold it on eBay after I used it for a while and the buyer claims it’s a refurb, which it’s not. What should I do?
I put it as used, sorry for not making that clear.
If you took PayPal as payment you might not have a choice. If the buyer files a claim, you might be forced to accept it as a return. It sounds like perhaps the buyer assumed it was new or perhaps you over-represented the item, causing the buyer to think it was new. I recommend that you allow the buyer to return it. If they file a claim your money could be tied up in PayPal for weeks. Then you’d have no camera (temporarily) and not the $ either.
